USASA Amateur Cup Draw

Late yesterday evening, the officials of Mass Soccer met at headquarters in Reading, MA to draw matchups for the USASA (United States Adult Soccer Association) Amateur Cup. The national tournament’s qualifiers begin next month, and your Siege are taking part.

Last year in the USASA Amateur Cup Siege started strong, taking down Middlesex in penalties to secure their berth in the second round. There, they met BSSL rivals Brockton FC. Late in the match, Siege went down to 10 men, which proved to be a hill too steep to climb as Siege lost 2-1. This year, Siege will look to reverse their fortunes against a familiar opponent. Siege have been drawn against Juve-Pro, our counterparts from the UPSL. In the past UPSL spring campaign, Siege and Juve-Pro met once, resulting in a high scoring 3-3 draw in Revere, MA.

Juve-Pro has been drawn as the home team, and the match will be taking place during the first weekend in November. Details on the match will be confirmed soon.
